The regular meeting of the Fire District will be held on the third Tuesday of every month at 7:30 pm. The meeting will be held at the Dorothy Firehouse located at 70 Tuckahoe Road Dorothy NJ. A half hour workshop will precede the regular meeting. The public is encouraged to attend as formal actions may be taken. The following is each months meeting date;

 PUBLIC NOTICE OF HEARING

 The Board of Fire Commissioners, District No. 1, Weymouth Township, New Jersey, will hold a public hearing on the annual budget for fiscal year 2025, at the Dorothy Volunteer Fire House, 70 Tuckahoe Road, Dorothy, NJ 08317, on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 7:30 p.m.  At the conclusion of this hearing, the agenda for the meeting will include a motion for the adoption of the District No. 1 Fire Commission budget for its fiscal year 2025.

 A copy of the budget will be available one week prior to the hearing, for any interested person, by contacting one of the following:  Weymouth Township Clerk at Township Hall, 45 South Jersey Avenue, Dorothy or the office of the District No. 1 Accountant, Cheryl Sayers CPA PC, 820 Route 9 South, Marmora, NJ 08223 during normal business hours or by visiting the Fire District’s website at www.weymouthfirecommission.org.
